Hello and thank you in advance for any assistance.
Couple of days ago my home windows 7 computer started an issue where the screen stopped recieving the visual out put. All wires have been check and different monitors have been tried.
This forced me to shutdown the system and start again. Strangly the computer then attempts to detect and install drivers for an unknow device where no other peripherals than the mouse and key board are in and already have the appropriate drivers, I didn't think much of this at first. The visual out put fails again after a completly undeterminable period of time.
I ran my own test by playing music and this revealed that after the visual is lost the system does eventually crash in a slow and catastophic way that makes it sound possed.
On other attempts to fix this I have found and disabled a "unknown device" that has appeared then uninstalled it in frustration. The system still treis to find drivers for an unknown device on start up, one that doesn't appear in the device manager, despite this.
Hardware diagnostic looked fine with everything running at acceptable bounderies, but I couldn't rule it out. (still hopeing its not hardware.)
In the log of crittical errors all I could find were the ones created by me forcing shutdowns.
My latest attempt was to role back the system, but I stupidly left the AVG anti virus on an it couldn't start. Now the visual dissapears before windows starts up. Though the amount of time I get is random.
My next plan was to open it up for an over due cleaning.
But does any one have any experience, advice or fixes for this as it is a new one to me.
